This article will cover everything you need to know about Device AMP, how to purchase it and how to apply it to your devices.

Note:
Device AMP is not to be confused with
AMP for vSpace. These are two distinct products and they have unique purposes, design and application. For example, in
Device AMP you are free to purchase licenses as you deem necessary, whether for one device, a few or all, which is unlike
AMP for vSpace, since you are required to cover 100% of your devices with licenses in order to keep you account compliant.
Pay attention to the specific rules and applications of Device AMP to understand and enjoy the full benefits of it.
Compatible Products
Device AMP applies to the following products: RX-RDP, RX-RDP+, RX420(RDP), RX440(RDP), EX500 and LEAF OS.

When you purchase a brand new device described above, it will come with a complimentary Device AMP license for 1 year.

Important Guidelines
Keep in mind that an active AMP license must be maintained to receive the described benefits. It is strongly recommended that you extend your complimentary Device AMP beyond the one year period.
Also, if renewal of the license is ignored beyond the expiration date, renewing an expired license will apply retroactively to the date that the previous license expired. You can read more in the last paragraph of this article.
You can purchase licensing directly from our authorized resellers or you can purchase directly, from the
Management Portal, online.
For the purposes of this article, we will describe the purchase directly at our website.

1. If you purchase from a reseller, you will get a license key to redeem in your
Management Portal account.
The license key needs to be redeemed immediately.
2. If you purchase directly from the Management Portal > Purchase Licenses and Services, there's no license key to redeem and your purchase will be automatically transferred to your account.
3. Once your licenses show up in your Management Portal account, the licenses need to be allocated to the devices that need them. This also needs to be done in a timely manner.
Device AMP could be purchased from the Management Portal as follows:
Go to NComputing.com and click on the Management Portal tab.
Once you are in the Management Portal homepage, click on Purchase Licenses and Services.
From there you can choose one of the following:
• NC-AMP-RXRDP-1A (one additional year)
• NC-AMP-RXRDP-2A (two additional years)
• NC-AMP-RXRDP-3A (three additional years)
• NC-AMP-RXRDP-4A (four additional years)
Proceeded with the payment and your licenses will be automatically applied to your account. Once you're done with the payment, click back to the Management Portal homepage and click on the My Licenses icon
From there you will be able to see your newly purchased licenses.
Allocation
Click on the ALLOCATE text, contextual to your Device AMP selection and you will be able to select the devices that are eligible for acquiring a license.

Note: Be careful when applying licenses. You have the ability of applying more than one license to the same serial number. This is enabled so that you can purposefully place multiple licenses on one device, for example, when Device AMP has not been paid for several years, you will need to do apply a few licenses to the same serial number to get the unit covered to the current year.
Once the license has been applied, you will need to confirm your selection.
