How to Get Started

  1. Install vSpace Pro Enterprise Edition on the host machine that will share the session.
    → Instructions here.

  2. Install the vSpace Pro Client on the end point PC or Laptop

  3. Ensure both devices are on the same local network (LAN). Once installed, the client should automatically detect your host and allow you to initiate a session.

Trial Mode Behavior for Software Clients

The vSpace Pro Client operates under trial mode by default. Each session (maximum of 5) is limited to 10 minutes. After this period, a warning message will appear, (shown below) and the session will automatically end. Users can reconnect, but the 10-minute limitation will persist until a valid license is applied.

To remove the trial limitation, you’ll need to purchase and allocate a vSpace Pro Software Client License from the NComputing Management Portal.

Purchasing and Activating a License

  1. Log into your NComputing account at www.ncomputing.com.

  2. Navigate to the Management Portal.

  3. Click on Purchase Licenses and Services.

  4. Select the vSpace Pro Software Client License (SKU: vSpacePro-SW-1A).

  5. Once purchased, allocate the license to your vSpace server.

vSpace Pro Software Client for RX and LEAFOS devices

If you're using RX420(RDP), RX-RDP+, RX440(RDP), LEAFOS, or other supported thin clients, vSpace Pro Software Client is already embedded in your device and ready to use.
These articles provide valuable insights into trial modes, licensing options to unlock trial mode, and troubleshooting registration synchronization problems when your devices were purchased with pre-bundled licensing.

Conclusion

Testing the vSpace Pro Client is a great way to evaluate NComputing’s virtual desktop platform. Keep in mind that trial sessions are limited to 10 minutes and intended for evaluation only. If you’re ready for broader deployment, purchasing the appropriate license will unlock the full experience.
