How to Register Multiple Devices Using Batch Registration in the Management Portal
Introduction
The
Management Portal now offers Batch Device Registration, enabling the simultaneous registration of multiple NComputing thin client serial numbers via a simple file upload. This exclusive feature is available exclusively to
PMC customers, which significantly simplifies the setup process for large-scale deployments.
Supported Devices
This feature supports the following NComputing devices that require registration in the Management Portal, including:
- RX540, RX580
- EX500, EX500W
- RX-RDP+, RX420(RDP), RX440(RDP)
Note for LEAF OS Devices: Zero-touch
onboarding is exclusively available for Technical Account Management
(TAM) customers. When your account is vested with a TAM Support
Subscription, our team will assist with the pre-registration of LEAFOS
devices via MAC addresses, as NComputing hardware serial numbers is not
existent for registration.
How to Use Batch Device Registration
Step 1: Prepare Your File
Create a file containing the serial numbers of the devices you want to register.
- Accepted formats: .xlsx, .csv, or .txt
- Format: One serial number per row
- Do not include headers or additional columns
Example on how to write the serial numbers:
Step 2: Upload the File
- Log in to NComputing.com with your account and click on the the Management Portal tab.

- Click on My Registered Devices icon.
Click the Register button on the top right of the window and select the Batch Register tab
- Drag and drop your file into the upload window
Step 3: Confirm Registration
- Once
uploaded, the system will validate the serial numbers and register all
valid devices. A summary of successes and any errors will be shown. Below some examples of a successful registration, and warnings. Be sure to use only valid serial numbers and accepted product models.

- Click DONE.
