What is 'UXP Turbo' protocol and what are its benefits?

The new 'UXP Turbo' protocol, supported on vSpace Pro Enterprise Edition (version 12.7.1 or newer), delivers an enhanced desktop experience with PC-like performance on multimedia intensive use cases such as: 
  1. 3D rendering
  2. Browser scrolling 
  3. Video playback
  4. Multimedia intensive applications
The 'UXP Turbo' protocol works with vCAST Streaming Technology providing higher quality video streaming without CPU bottlenecks.

'UXP Turbo' saves CPU resources by enabling GPU support (Nvidia GPU & modern Intel CPU platforms).  Please refer to this KB article for additional GPU support information:

'UXP Turbo' feature is supported on the following clients:
  1. RX300 (version 4.2.2 or higher version)
  2. RX420(RDP) and RX-RDP+ thin clients (version 3.2.4 or higher)
  3. LEAFOS devices (version 3.2.4 or higher)
'UXP Turbo' protocol can be enabled on vSpace Pro Enterprise Edition based on the following Windows OS:
    1. Windows 10
    2. Windows 11
    3. Windows Server 2022
    'UXP Turbo' protocol can be enabled in vSpace Console:
    1. To enable ‘UXP Turbo’:  Launch Space Console -> ‘Manage Servers’ -> select the target vSpace server -> ‘Settings’ tab -> select ‘Enable UXP Turbo Protocol’ and click ‘Apply’ (see screenshot below):
