            vSpace Pro 10.5.0 Known issues

            · M300, MX100S and MX100D (M/MX-series) with firmware version 2.4.7

            · vSpace Client for Windows, version 2.3.1

            · vSpace Client for Chromebook, version 1.2.0.26

            Known Issue details

            The following vSpace Server issues still exist in this product version:

            · RDSL-6554 – Installing major Windows 10 updates (like the Anniversary or Fall Creators Update) removes vital vSpace Server registry keys and renders the system unusable.
            Workaround: vSpace Pro 10 should be uninstalled first, and then always use the latest available version vSpace Pro 10 to re-installed after installing major Windows 10 updates to avoid this problem. Alternatively, using the Control Panel > Programs and Features > NComputing vSpace Pro > Repair option can be used to recover vSpace Pro after installing major Windows 10 updates.

            · RDSL-6915 – Video streaming with Windows Media Player may not be smooth for certain Windows operating systems.

            · RDSL-6853 –Multiple concurrent sessions for the same user is not allowed on Windows 10 1709.

            · RDSL-6719 - Incorrect HORZSIZE and VERTSIZE values returned by the GetDeviceCaps API function for UXP sessions can cause wrong character spacing on some printed documents.

            The following vSpace Server issues are inherited from version 10.3.7:

            · RDSL-6718 – The ‘Session Logon Timeout’ setting has no effect on Windows Server 2012 Standard version 6.2. Workaround: Upgrade host machine to Windows Server 2012 R2.

            · RDSL-6645 – Session screen artifacts after reconnecting to RX300 a session, which was initially using different screen resolution. Workaround: Sign out the user session before reconnecting the session using a different screen resolution.

            · RDSL-6636 –Video playback may not be smooth with VLC media player on Windows 10 without vCAST Media Streaming.

            · RDSL-6607 – Playback with Windows Media Player window does not support moving from first monitor to the second in RX300 session on Windows 10.

            · RDSL-6572, RDSL-5836 – Inability to record sound from the connected analog or USB microphone using Voice Recorder application when USB Audio Redirection is turned off.

            · RDSL-6488 - Extremely frequent and simultaneous session connect/disconnect actions from multiple client devices may temporarily cause heavier loads on Windows Server 2016.

            · RDSL-6487 - Server settings do not get preserved during vSpace Pro 10.2.1.1 upgrade.

            · RDSL-6414 - In Windows Server 2008 R2 sessions smart card reader cannot read data from the card when the USB smart card reader was connected to L350 before user login.

            · RDSL-6413 – Some scanner models might disappear from Device Manager when attempting to scan a document.

            · RDSL-6384 – Some system components will still be installed in default location when custom installation path is specified in installation wizard.

            · RDSL-6291 – Multimedia playback with Windows Media Player may sometimes cause high CPU load.

            · RDSL-5940 – Some USB audio device models might not get set as the default audio device after being connected to an MX100 device running an active session. This issue happens when the MX100 device has the USB Audio Redirection option turned on.

            · RDSL-5850 – GUI elements covering the player area of an active VLC media player are blurred for L- or M/MX-series clients.

            · RDSL-5662 – When the ‘USB audio redirection’ option is turned On on the L- or M/MX-series client the sounds from the host console session might be audible in USB headset if the headset was connected to a device running an active vSpace Server session.

            · RDSL-5549 – Application auto-launch doesn’t work when vSpace Server is installed on a desktop version of Windows OS.
            See the Additional Notes and Workarounds section below for more information.

            · RDSL-5150 – Smart Cards redirected from client devices can only be access in up to 10 concurrent sessions.

            · RDSL-5058 – Redirected USB audio may be not continuous during movie playback on L-series devices.

            The following vSpace Console issues are inherited from 10.3.7 version and still exist in this product version:

            · VCON-859 – The ‘Mirror display’ and ‘Secondary Display Resolution’ settings appear in vSpace Console, but are not yet supported by RX300 firmware.

            · VCON-821 – Sessions View: Disconnecting multiple selected sessions with one mouse click is impossible.

            · VCON-792 – Server List becomes empty or may contain incorrect server status information when vSpace Console loses connection to vSpace Manager and then reconnects.

            · VCON-692 – The ‘Menu animation: Off’ setting from Performance Profiles does not get properly applied.

            · VCON-691 – The ‘Show desktop wallpaper’ setting from Performance Profiles does not get properly applied.

            The following vSpace Manager issues exist in this product version:

            · LSR-781 – When the IP address of vSpace Server changes, this change will not be reflected in vSpace Manager’s console.

            The following L-series firmware issues still exist in version 1.13.12:

            · TT-771 – Turning on the USB Audio Redirection requires device reboot to take effect on Windows Server 2016.

            · TT-769 – Session disconnects after initiating a Skype call if Logitech A-00044 USB headset is connected and USB Audio Redirection is off.

            · TT-763 – Device reboot is needed to get sound after connecting USB headset with disabled USB Audio Redirection.

            · TT-755 - vCAST MOJO Streaming stops when an Administrator takes control over the session from vSpace Console.

            · TT-730 –Mouse pointer movement may not be smooth on L350 after connecting a smart card reader.

            The following M/MX-series firmware issues still exist in version 2.4.7:

            · XAN-720 – vCAST MOJO streaming frames may sometimes incorrectly positioned when the screen resolution is 1280x720 or 1920x1080.

            · XAN-705 – USB Audio Redirection is not supported when vCAST MOJO streaming is enabled.

            · XAN-692 - Video and sound may not be smooth during concurrent video playback in WMP or VLC on three devices (main and two satellite).

            · XAN-691 - Sound and video may not be smooth during YouTube video playback when browser is in windowed mode.

            · XAN-686 – Artifacts can appear when scrolling YouTube website with active video playback.

            The following RX300 issues still exist in firmware version 3.1.3:

            · RX-1134 – Device reboot is required to apply Enterprise Wi-Fi related network changes.

            · RX-1097 - Device does not automatically refresh the IP address through DHCP after physically changing connection to another subnet.

            · RX-1096 – Trying to use vCAST Web Streaming in proxy environment without configuring proxy settings can cause session disconnect.

            · RX-976 – vCAST Web Streaming does not play YouTube videos embedded in 3rd party websites.

            · RX-919, RX-918 – vCAST Web Streaming does not work on the secondary display.

            · RX-888 – No error message when the configured Internet proxy credentials are invalid.

            The following RX300 firmware issues are inherited from version 2.0.25:

            · RX-711 – Sound may not be smooth when moving the playback pointer on YouTube in Edge or Firefox browsers (no vCAST Web Streaming).

            · RX-607 – When saving edited Manual IP settings the changed address of default gateway does not get applied properly.

            · RX-573 – Previously configured display resolution changes to the native resolution of connected display during firmware upgrade.

            · RX-464 – Wrong status gets indicated by WiFi icon after disconnecting the Ethernet cable.

            · RX-366 – Audio may be not continuous on some USB headsets.
