Session Setting Naming Conventions/Requirements

Session Setting Naming Conventions/Requirements

Product Line:  VERDE

***NOTE*** This is specific to VERDE Versions before 8.2

In multi-tenant VERDE implementations, please be aware it is a requirement to use unique names for each session setting across all organizations in the tenant landscape   Being in different organizations does not properly segment the networking if duplicate session setting names are created.  To achieve complete network segmentation, ensure your session setting names across tenants are unique.

Here are examples of a current Org-0, Org-7, and Org-14 session setting names.  The only duplicates allowed are the built-in Default Session Settings. An easy way to ensure unique names is to append the organization name or organization number onto the session setting name.
