What is Device AMP (for RX, LEAF OS, and EX devices), and what does it cover?
Device AMP is a software maintenance plan which covers the following:
- PMC Endpoint Manager (device management software) and the following thin client firmware updates:
- RX-RDP+, RX420(RDP), RX440(RDP), RX540, RX580, LEAF OS, and EX500W devices
- 24x7 access to self-help & documentation
- Unlimited trouble tickets
- Live chat support
- Phone support (available in the U.S only).
Each RX-RDP+, RX420(RDP), RX440(RDP), RX540, RX580, LEAF OS, and EX500W device includes a perpetual license for PMC software, along with first-year of complimentary software maintenance (Device AMP for RX, LEAF OS and EX devices).
After the first year, if the complimentary Device AMP expires, firmware updates—whether local or remote via PMC—will no longer be available.
To continue receiving newer firmware updates, Device AMP licenses must be purchased and assigned to each RX, LEAF OS, and EX device.
