What are the Windows OS and software requirements for using the UXP Turbo protocol in a vSpace virtualization session?

The ‘UXP Turbo’ protocol enhances desktop delivery for multimedia-intensive tasks, such as smooth browser scrolling, video playback, and improved performance in multimedia applications.

It is supported on vSpace Pro Enterprise running the following Windows operating systems:
  1. Windows 10
  2. Windows 11
  3. Windows Server 2022
The new UXP Turbo with advanced H.264 protocol, available in vSpace Pro Enterprise 12.9.0 and higher, delivers more efficient compression, reducing bandwidth requirements and lowering latency. It is ideal for vSpace remote access over WAN with VPN and is optimized for 3D rendering applications that demand short latency. The UXP Turbo (H.264) protocol is supported on these three Windows OS versions and requires additional software installation:
  1. For Windows 10 and Windows 11, the Window Media Feature Pack is required. If you're using Windows 10/11N, refer to the Microsoft article for installation instructions.
  2. For Windows Server 2022, Window Media Foundation is required. For installation instructions, refer to this article.
