As of the writing of the Knowledge Base Article, NFS4 has not been tested.  A customer installed their Clustered VERDEOS 8.2.7 on NAS/NFS 4.  VERDEOS installed, but, when they attempted to create a gold image or access an imported image, the following resulted:

By changing the NFS/NAS from 4 to 3, the issue was resolved.
