VERDE Menu is Unreadable from a Remote Terminal
Product Line: VERDEWhen accessing the VERDE menu from a remote terminal session, the menu is unreadable or badly formatted.
This can be due to a bad setup of your remote terminal session, such as having TERM configuration set to VT100. An xterm terminal is multi-colored, the VT100 is monochrome.
SOLUTION:
To change the set up of the remote terminal session (such as PUTTY) , run these two commands:
TERM=xterm
export TERM
Run the VERDE Menu:
/usr/lib/verde/bin/verde-menu
