Tested Backup Software for VERDE/VERDEOS

Tested Backup Software for VERDE/VERDEOS

Product Line:  VERDE

We tested a Linux-based backup system that we installed on the Verde server called:  Acronis Adv Server backup

This provided its own Management Console that did not conflict with Verde.

You could create backup jobs (full or incremental) and schedule them for specific days, weekly or monthly.

You could configure an FTP link to any Storage or Host and use that as the data transport for the backup.

You could backup complete Directories/Sub-Directories, or select specific Directories and/or files that you wanted to backup.

The Server license was about $295 per year.
