NetCfg Import Issue and Workaround Specific to 8.2.7

AS OF VERDE 8.2.8, THIS IS NO LONGER VALID.


This article highlights an issue with NetCfg Import and the workaround.

ISSUE:

When the netcfg file is imported (General Settings/General Settings) VERDE provides a pop-up stating that it was properly process/received.

 

If you go over to General Settings/NetCfg Settings, the imported data is not displayed or available.  Logging in with the id in the netcfg.csv file does not run the specified IP address nor the specified image name.


Solution:

This is resolved only after you stop/start VERDE services.  Suddenly the netcfg UI updates and logins work properly (the correct IP and Image Name).
