M Series: Display image appears distorted or offset to left or right of screen
Summary:
The two small M300 clients are joined to their large client via a standard Cat5e or Cat6 network cable. The quality and condition of this network cable can have a direct effect on the quality and orientation of the image displayed by the small clients. In some cases, a damaged or low quality cable can cause the image to appear fuzzy or skewed to the left or right of the screen.
Solution:
1) Ensure that the Cat5e or Cat6 cable joining the small client to the large client is no longer than 5 meters, as outlined in the M300 user manual.
2) Replace the network cable joining the small client to the large client with a new cable.
3) If the issue persists beyond these steps, connect the monitor belonging to the small client in question to the large client and use the auto-adjust feature built into the monitor to reset the screen orientation. Once the display is clear, reconnect the monitor to the small client.
