IGEL and NComputing RX420(IGEL) collaboration

The RX420(IGEL) thin client device is powered by IGEL OS. IGEL offers IGEL OS, the next-gen edge operating system for cloud workspaces.  Linux based, lightweight, and modular with a read-only file system, IGEL OS serves as an ideal secure endpoint OS for devices accessing virtualized apps, desktops, and cloud workspaces.

IGEL OS for ARM is now available exclusively for NComputing’s Raspberry Pi 4 platform (RX420 IGEL), with full support for Citrix Workspace App, Citrix Workspace Hub and Casting.  IGEL OS for ARM also ships with an embedded Chromium browser and the current Workspace App.

IGEL OS is complemented by IGEL Universal Management Suite (UMS) to deploy, manage and secure any IGEL OS powered device.  Legendary for its ease of use, the IGEL UMS can manage up to 100,000 IGEL OS-powered endpoint devices including those “off network” for work-at-home and remote/mobile users.
