How to Update LEAF OS on Devices with 8 GB Internal Storage
LEAF OS devices with 8 GB of internal storage must first be upgraded to the intermediate firmware version 7.0.0 to reduce storage usage before updating to the latest release. Device configuration will be preserved during this process.
LEAF OS version 7.0.0 (intermediate firmware) can be download
here.
For all future firmware upgrades on devices with 8 GB of internal storage, this same two-step process must be followed: first update to version 7.0.0, then update to the newer target version.
LEAF OS devices with 16 GB of internal storage or more do not require this special update procedure.
