Starting with LEAF OS version 5.2, the new LEAF OS workspace
enhances productivity by enabling easy launching, multitasking, and toggling
between different applications.
In this case, how can an admin lock down LEAF OS to provide kiosk-only
usage (i.e., single operation mode and no access to other applications)?
Customers who prefer to configure the device as a locked-down kiosk (with
no icons shown on the Desktop, Start Menu, or App Launcher, and with
Auto-Launch enabled) should follow these steps:
Go to Settings > Applications, select the desired
application, and click the Edit icon. Then, deselect the options for Show
on App Launcher, Show on Start Menu, and Show Desktop icon. Select Auto-launch and choose Restart
as
the Action on exit.
