How to configure 3.5mm audio output for RX-HDX, RX-HDX+, RX420(HDX) and RX420(STDK) with Stratodesk NoTouch OS firmware version 3.2.398, 3.2.498 and higher versions?

In Stratodesk NoTouch OS firmware version 3.2.398, 3.2.498 and higher versions, special audio configuration setting is required to provide audio output to the built-in 3.5mm jack on RX-HDX, RX-HDX+, RX420(HDX) and RX420(STDK).

Below please find the instructions on how to enable the 3.5mm audio jack with the above Stratodesk firmware version on RX-HDX, RX-HDX+, RX420(HDX) and RX420(STDK). This configuration change can be performed locally on the device or remotely via NoTouch Center:
  1. Go to RX device configuration setting -> Audio, choose 'Default' for Standard audio device.
  2. Change the 'Standard audio device (Device description)' parameter to bcm2835 Headphones.
  3. Click on ‘save’ and then reboot the device.
