How to access Microsoft Windows 365 Cloud PC from NComputing endpoints?
Microsoft Windows 365, a cloud service that introduces a new way to experience Windows 10 or Windows 11 (when it’s generally available later this calendar year) for workers from interns and contractors to software developers and industrial designers. Windows 365 takes the operating system to the Microsoft Cloud, securely streaming the full Windows experience—including all your apps, data, and settings—to your personal or corporate devices. This approach creates a fully new personal computing category, specifically for the hybrid world: the Cloud PC.
NComputing LEAFOS software endpoint solution, RX-RDP+ and RX420(RDP) thin clients have integrated Cloud PC and AVD client which supports Microsoft Windows 365 Cloud PC. Windows 365 Cloud PC is supported with the following minimum firmware versions:
- LEAFOS (version 2.8.6 and higher)
- RX-RDP+ and RX420(RDP) (version 2.8.8 and higher)
From these supported endpoints, the AVD Client mode needs to be selected (under General settings) with Spring 2020 release support enabled (under Connections settings) to be able to connect to Microsoft Windows 365 Cloud PC.
