Does PMC Device Management software need to be registered to the same NComputing Management Account as my RX-RDP and RX420(RDP) devices?

Does PMC Device Management software need to be registered to the same NComputing Management Account as my RX-RDP and RX420(RDP) devices?

Yes.

Both RX-RDP and RX420(RDP) devices come with complementary PMC device management licenses. In order for PMC Device Management software to manage these devices, PMC software must be registered to the same NComputing Management Portal account as the RX-RDP and RX420(RDP) devices. Otherwise, PMC software will not be able to manage these devices and will display "Limited due to license restrictions' message.

If you have new RX-RDP and/or RX420(RDP) devices, by using PMC Device Management Software or SuperRDP Server Pack Software, these devices will automatically be registered to the same NComputing Management Portal account which was used during the software registration.

If you, later on, decide to set up a new PMC Device Management software instance and registered to a different NComputing Management Portal account, you will NOT be able to manage these RX-RDP and RX420(RDP) devices. In this case, your new PMC Device Management software instance needs to be registered to the SAME NComputing Management Portal account to manage the registered RX-RDP and RX420(RDP) devices.
